M. Hayat Khan

Rana M. () Hayat Khan is an agriculturalist and a politician affiliated with Pakistan Muslim League (N). He was a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan from 1990-1997. He was elected as District Nazim Kasur in 2005. He was the only District Nazim in Pakistan who opposed Gen Musharraf's dictatorship. He was the only person who won the election of District Nazim as a supporter of Pakistan Muslim League (N).
He was elected from NA-142 in the election of 2013 and is now a member of the National Assembly.

==Education==

Rana Hayat received his early education from Government High School, Bhai Pheru, Kasur and secondary education from Central Model School, Lahore. He completed his Intermediate/Higher Secondary schooling from the Forman Christian College University, Lahore in Arts subjects. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Government College University, Lahore, after which he started his political career from the small town of Bhai Pheru.
